Slipping silently into the nicely-furnished office, she absentmindedly seats herself in one of the cushioned visitors chairs.
"Yes, it was mostly fine here, though there were some civilian casulties, and I believe a few people are still unaccounted for. These people are assumed dead or close to it, if they were indeed left out of shelter. Also, I have been warned that although the storm is nearly gone, it will be unsafe to walk outside on the unsupported sand for some time...apparently the risk of sink-holes is signifigant."
She pauses, glancing once more at the small screen in her palm, before returning her gaze, with slight amusement, to the president.
"I also have some news from surveillance... apparently there were some explosions detected in the Venhydra colony, and the officers in security say we can safely say Venhydra is being attacked by air. We have no information on who is attacking, but you can be sure they will blame it on us if they can't catch the pilot."
