Wow. I have to read that article again because I do not remember any mention of what happened at all. It doesn't say the situation or anything. It just left that out. That sound's bad. I have to research this more. If he really did that then that's fucked up. When you read articals (in Village Voice) they make him sound all scholarly and such a nice guy, and all these rock stars support him. I don't know the death penalty makes me nauseous though. Someone dying with a needle in their arm strapped to a gurney or electrocuted in a chair. I think just give life in prision. I think human's killing in a "right" way doesn't make sense after the fact as a punishment because the prisioner presumedly doesn't learn from it cause he dies, and if he does learn about it in the Afterlife then that stipulates a God and God said Thou Shall Not Kill so even though it seems to make sense It's like a challenge. Don't kill even though it seems right. Self defense is different. But I'm thinking of a perfect world and if we had that people wouldn't kill each other. I think it's bad and wrong that a cop got killed but will killing this guy bring him back? Were all part of a whole. Every person on this earth has to learn how to be human. Me included
