Hi there. Krycek-nik : was that deliberate? A ref to his character and his real name and his quasi-Russianness all in one. I agree they couldn't have kept Krycek without Mulder but I suppose I was hoping for a more dramatic scene, one where M & K got a chance to talk a bit more at the end. Krycek did some bad things, so I suppose his ultimate demise was necessary; I'd just have liked a bit of uncertainty about what happened to him. Like with CSM, they saved his ultimate fate til last - and what a brilliant ending *he* had! He deserved that. What a scary wild man of the mountains he had become!

As to Season 8-9 - I did quite like Doggett and Reyes but I kept on thinking how sad it was that Mulder had to be absent. I preferred his abduction by aliens phase to the S9 plot where he was spirited away into hiding. I can't really accept that our hero wouldn't stay and fight for and alongside his girl. And he might have protected the baby a bit more! We know it was a plot necessitated by DD's departure, but nevertheless, characters are characters and Mulder was always stubborn and a stayer.

I will try to turn up more often. I always hated being far behind the current viewing. I feel better now.
