I like soccer much better than our American Football. Football is the only game I know of where you can have 3 minutes of playing time left on the clock but it will take another half hour to actually finish the game. I used to teach physical education and enjoy all high school and college sports as well as the Olympics. What I absolutely despise are professional sports--football and basketball to be specific. Basketball used to be played where you couldn't touch the other guy. Now it's almost like Roller Derby without roller skates. Ice hockey is about the only professional sport I enjoy watching--sometimes figure skating too. Guess that comes from growing up and living in Minnesota.

Thanks for the kilt info. No, I have never actually seen a kilt up close--just pictures. I wonder if there is some sort of an encyclopedia of the different tartan patterns. It would be fun to look at the differences in the patterns and colors. I have always wanted to see Scotland, Great Britain and Ireland. Someday I will just have to do some traveling to your part of the world!

ps--I don't know if Scotch Whiskey is from your country--best stuff there is though!
