Yes, the little rumour that Gilly mentioned there will be another movie at some stage appeared in our Tv mag. They aren't always correct in what they print. Usually if the rare occasion occurs where they even mention XF they usually get it all wrong. But that kind of makes the rumour a bit more plausible.

I hope there is a movie but the idea of TV reunion movies is a good one too. When you make a blockbuster there is the pressure for it to be really really good. I know that they all thought the first movie would blow everyone away and it didn't. I think because of the cult thing and the fact that most people wouldn't have gone because they had not seen the show and wouldn't have known what it was all about may have let it down somewhat even though the box office result was still good. The same could and probably would happen again unless the movie really is HUGE in its own right. And for drama type movies to do any good they usually have to contain gore, sex , violence and action. Actually a few of the eps should be put on the big screen and would probably do better than the movie did. lol. If they were to make a gore, sex, action and violent film then it really wouldn't be XF in the same sense. Most movie goers want to sit and vege and be carried along with the action. Unlike us Xphiles who get off on mystery and intrigue and THINKING. If they could make the next movie really really creepy it might work well. Very scary and sinister, I think it would do better than an all action movie. They could have a bit of action.And even a bit of sex thrown in there for Islandgirl [I can live without an MS sex scene] CC needs to think up something terrifying. Something that will make us all need to change our undies after it. If he can do that then I think the movie will be a huge hit. Otherwise let them do a telemovie or 6. I'd still like that.
