Subject: If using that criteria

Then about 99% of the leading men on TV are trying to be like Mulder. Doggett was intentionally NOTHING like Mulder. Doggett played by the book, Mulder never did. Doggett followed orders, hardly something Mulder did. Mostly, Mulder believed, Doggett as I recalled used the term 'mumbo-jumbo' a lot when the idea of a paranormal explaination was introduced.

I have a problem with Skinner being elevated to a leading man role. I do love Skinner, he is a great charactor, but he has jumped sides too many times to be a true 100% supporter of the XFiles investigations. How can we really believe he is when we know he once played with the bad boys, and we know he is easily comprimised (remember the nanothingy).

XFiles needed strong new blood, and Doggett could have been it, had he been given a fair chance.
