This is the first time we have seen them with Skinner since they did it. I think they were over doing the professional detachment. You didn't see anything coz they were trying too hard to look untogether. You know if you've done something and it seems like everyone knows. You wonder if they can tell by looking at you? Well it is like they were trying not to let Skinner see anything different in their interaction with eachother. There was deliberate LACK of eyecontact with eachother and even a lack of interest in eachother. They obviously couldn't trust themselves to act normally incase Skinner saw any changes in their relationship so they acted too far the other way. They weren't hostile or anything just very casually nonchalant with eachother. At the end where Scully says "Hi, glad to be back? " or what ever she says, you can see there is something extra there. Very slightly. In the way she looked at him more than her words. Like she hadn't seen him in a day or two but the attachment was there. Even before the henpecking started.
