Dad begins. "I know your sister would like to stick me in a pair of Depends and send me to the Home."

KS pshaws. "You know how she is. She'd stick ME in a home if she wasn't afraid of me. And PFC 2. And just about everything else under the sun. You, she's not so afraid of."

Dad sighs. "It's just since I turned 70 that she lost her fear. Anyway, I was thinking..."

KS turns to her Dad. "Look, as your number one daughter, I won't let you go into a home." She eyes him uncertainly. "Unless, of course, you actually need Depends."

Dad waves away her concern. "No, no. But I was thinking of going into a particular home." He looks around at the Mayor's pool area appreciatively. "This one would suit me just fine. I'm sure the Mayor needs electrical work done occasionally, or a security guard, or a mailman, or..."

"Um...Dad, I don't think..." KS pauses, then shrugs. "Well, I don't see why not. Just be sure to tell the Mayor it was Kande's idea, OK?"

"Gotcha."
