Subject: So you finally got your package from Kande, says the Mayor glumly

"Did you get the olive oil she hand carried from Italy too?" The Mayor really regrets that Christmas is over. She could have used that olive oil on the Red Speedo Revue clone she "borrowed" from Kande.

"Yeah, it's at home in my Kande shrine," KS informs her. She hobbles over to a bar stool and motions Bubba to bring her a nog.

"You have a Kande shrine?" CW asks skeptically.

"Kande convinced me it's the new sister thing to do," KS says airily, nose buried in nog. "I have it in the bathro--...er..living room. It's got the olive oil, some cartoons Kande drew, postcards and Teddy, her old Teddy Bear from childhood."

"Teddy!!!" screeches Kande with rage. "So that's where he went!" She stomps off towards the kitchen. The others watch her go with open mouths.

KS smirks. "She insisted on the shrine, I insisted on Teddy. OW!" Suddenly KS bends over, holding her side. She takes a deep breath and sits up. She doubles over again, this time holding on to her sore toe.

"KS? Are you OK?" JD asks.

"I...I think so," KS says in a puzzled tone. "Whew, that was weird."

"I personally think sister shrines are weird," Stardoe says, scratching her head. "Thank God I'm Aussie."

"So does Kande have a shrine to you?" IG asks, scribbling away as she writes about this new tender side to the sisters.

"Of course," KS says calmly, then starts scratching like mad at the side of her neck.

"What's her shrine have that's about you?" The Mayor has joined the bizarre conversation.

"Hmm...the usual. Nail clippings, hair, a baby tooth...OW!! Damn and double damn!" KS is hopping up and down and contorting her body. "Sheesh, that hurts!"

CW looks at her with dawning horror. "That's no shrine, that sounds like voodoo!"

KS stops her contortions for a moment, even though they can all see it costs her dearly. "You're right, CW. And I got her a voodoo kit for Christmas too. ARGH! My eyes! My eyes!" She grabs her face and starts hobbling as fast as she can go towards the kitchen to get Kande, running over Bubba in the process. Behind her, IG starts erasing what she's just written about the sisters having a tender side, tearing a hole in the paper.
