KS but that will be up to him to tell you--not me" CW smiled as she took the drink and left the Klub.

KS decided that enough was enough--she just HAD to find out who that man was since CW wasn't cooperating. "Tough old bird" she muttered "guess I will just have to shadow her and see what I can find out."

Turning into her side garden, CW was relieved to see that her guest had left the yard. "KS just won't give up will she" smiled CW to herself as she saw KS working her way along the fenceline "it's too bad she has chosen such a disturbing line of work." Going into the kitchen, she set the drink down in the stainless steel sink and watched the floating glob start to take shape. "Now what's that little alien up to" wondered CW as she grabbed an empty pint jar from the cupboard. "Let's see what formaldehyde will do to this little critter" she thought as she strained the blob into the jar and added the formaldehyde from under the sink.

KS, now not the least bit concerned if she was caught, heard the plop and fizz and popped her head up just high enough to see into the kitchen window.

"Come on in KS" said CW with her back to the window "you're just as curious as I am about what this is.

Jumping at the invitation, KS hit her head on the flowerbox and sat down with just a light thump. "What's that song I hear?" she asked as "don't let those stars get in your eyes if you have ... on the brain." As she tried to stand, those missing words began to make her head spin.

Coming out of the kitchen, CW brought an ice pack, nicely wrapped in an embroidered dish towel and gently plopped in on KS's now throbbing head. "Here--thought you might need this and don't let those missing words bother you. You will be fine when and if you ever do remember them."

Setting the jar down with it's unusual scientific specimen slowly floating just off the bottom, the two began to watch it with more than a little curiosity.

"Just WHAT is that" asked a dizzy KS as she tightly held onto the ice pack "and how did you know I was out here?"

"My, my, my, didn't your mother ever tell you that all mothers have eyes in the back of our heads? It's a figure of speech of course but some things just never change" said a slightly smiling CW. "How's your head?"
