Subject: Bubba reluctantly reassembles Ivy

Just when I was getting ready for a fricasee, Bubba thinks darkly to himself as Kande frantically sews Ivy's little body back together and tucks it gently in the miniscule, cat-shaped coffin. She snaps shut the lid and wipes her hands on her bike skort.

"By God, you better not make me come in here again," she scolds the little green alien who is scowling at her. "I've got to get this buried again before KS finds out.." She promptly stuffs a pillow over the coffin and sits on it as the door to Bubba's room begins to creak open. Bubba takes the opportunity to slip out, gnawing on a little white fur paw that Kande has missed.

"Kande, are you...oh, there you are," KS pops into the room, holding onto a list of names. "Look, I've got a job to do for Rabid down in California and I'm going to need you to put flowers on Ivy's grave while I'm gone." KS stops talking for a moment, turns, and peers after Bubba.

Kande immediately starts bustling around Bubba's little 5' by 5' room. "Absolutely Sis, no problem doing that for you, no problem at all."

KS shakes her head. "I could've sworn Bubba was chewing on a rabbit's foot. You did tell him that certain barbaric people consider those good luck, not a snack, didn't you?"

Kande hustles KS out of the room. "What kind of job do you have down in movieville?"

KS shrugs. "The usual. Ax a couple of Fox execs, maybe catch a wedding while I'm down there."

Rabid comes down the hall at that moment. "A wedding?! I'm not paying you to go to any wedding, unless it involves Buffy and Spike!"

KS hitches her artillery belt and rolls her eyes. "Sorry, Rab, gotta go do the in-law thing."

Kande shoos Rabid and KS down the hall, as far away as she can get them before KS discovers the cat coffin in Bubba's room. Finally, the two enter the Klub, still arguing about their contract, and are surrounded by wake revelers.

"Whew," Kande breathes out, and then turns to see Bubba III slipping into Bubba's room. "Darn it, crap!" she yells.
