"easy Mayor, lets surround the place then get a mic placed so we can hear whats going on" SHerriff Stardoe whispers.

"no, we should storm the place" kande suggests. Everyone turns and stares at her with eyebrows raised. "well, maybe YOU should storm the place, after all Rabid is a valuable member of the Shipperville Community. You guys go ahead, I'll stay back here and watch your back"

"Stardoe, the call is yours" kenamom looks to her trusted Sherriff only to find her tuning into a small reciever.

"sshhhhhh" she looks sternly at the others.

"OHHH are the Mystics playing...Whats the score!" kande jumps for joy.

"Not the mystics, while you guys where arguing what to do I sent in a tiny robotic microphone. Gather round, I am picking something up"

"What the hell do you want with my baby slugs???" Rabids voice is heard through the little box.

"my pet needs some companions. I asked nicely and didn't get a response so I took action" answers a strange voice.

"who is that?" Stardoe looks at the Mayor questionly.

"Who the hell are you anyway?" Rabid is heard to ask.

"GM Rabid" the Mayor smiles.

"MY NAME....YOU WANT TO KNOW MY NAME" the voice yells back.

"well, yes, thats why I asked" Rabid uses her cold librarian voice. A shiver goes through the crowd listening in.

"FINE...my name is NIKKI. I am here about SLUGS. OKAY" she screams, "ARE YOU HAPPY NOW"

"Nikki, who the hell is Nikki?" Stardoe asks flipping through her Shipperville Phone book.

The Mayor turns white, "If I know this is what she was up too......." she shakes her head before putting it in her hands.

"What Mayor....do you know Nikki?"

"She wrote in asking for Slug information. I answered her as best as I could, even KS responded. I knew I should have given the letter over to the experts, but she seemed so harmless"

"No one asking for information about the care and feeding of slugs could be considered harmless Mayor" Stardoe says crossly as she pulls out her walkie Talkie, "KS...KS....come in."

A blast of fuzz and static is heard. Stardoe responds back, "CODE RED, YES, CODE RED. Bring the secret weapon. Meet us behind the periwinkle bush at the west of kandi's klub. ASAP"

Stardoe puts the walkie talkie back into her vest pocket and looks at the crowd. "We will save her. It will be a dangerous mission. There is only one person who can do this job." Stardoe looks directly at kandi before continuing, "only one person who has been in secret training with myself and KS. She has been borne for a mission like this...."

kande's eyes go wide, "NOOOOOO, you mean....NOOOOOOOO"

Stardoe nods, "yes, the devil child"
