They see KS and PFC 2, dressed completely in fatigues. KS has on her regulation FBI-issued sunglasses (ordered through JD's FBI account) and the 3-foot tall PFC 2 also wears sunglasses, except that hers are star-shaped. Both have their faces smeared with camouflage paint. KS is holding onto a never-before-seen submachine gun, with a flamethrower tucked into the back of her artillery belt with miscellaneous other tools and weapons. As far as the crowd can tell, PFC 2 holds nothing. Both salute as soon as Stardoe comes into view.

PFC 2 turns her head towards Kande, her face blank and her white blonde pigtails swaying gently in the night's breeze. Kande cringes behind KM. Bubba, who has just woken up from being sedated and wandered out behind the crowd, sees her, yelps, and dives back into the klub.

CW's face lights up as soon as she sees PFC 2. "Aww, isn't she cute, just like a miniature KS," she coos. "Kootchy-kootchy koo." She moves towards PFC 2 but Kande tackles her before she gets too close.

"What the heck do you think you're doing?" CW cries as she beats Kande over the head with her knitting needles.

"You'll thank me later," Kande informs her, dodging and trying to brush off the periwinkle leaves from her bike shorts. "Trust me."

"Ahem! We are here to save Rabid and the slugs!" Stardoe reminds the group. She turns to KS and PFC 2. "Do you have everything?" The two nod in unison. Stardoe looks at the Mayor. "I think we're set."

The Mayor nods and moves towards the door of the hastily-erected structure. She knocks and then places her ear against the door. Shuffling and cursing can be heard from within. "Yoo hoo, Nikki!"

"What do you want?" a voice growls on the other side of the door.

"Help, Mayor! She has the sluglets! She plans to take over the world!" the group can hear Rabid scream and then there's a thud and she goes silent. The group gives a collective gasp.

"She could do it, you know," CW authoritatively informs the group. "Just a few of them can wreck a garden. I shudder to think what could happen if she starts breeding the little suckers."

"I'm afraid she's going to sell them to rural communities as deities," the Mayor says in a worried voice. "And you know we'll never see any profit from that."

"Don't worry, Mayor," KS pats KM's shoulder. "We'll take care of this. Shall we go in?" She looks at PFC 2 who gives the faintest of nods.

"Boy," PFC 2 hisses at Kande as she starts to pass.

"Oh now, I really don't think we should send in a child to handle this, can't KS cope on her own?" CW frets. She reaches for PFC 2 to give her a motherly hug but PFC 2 does something to her out of sight of the rest of the Shippervillians.

"Eep." gasps CW.
