"Field Trip" and "The Truth" tie-in

Looking at this ^^^^ picture, I thought the position -- man and woman lying face-to-face, his hand on her hip and his leg hooked over hers -- looked awfully familiar. I finally realized that this was the position the married couple at the beginning of "Field Trip" were in when they succumbed to the effects of the man-eating mushroom.
When "Field Trip" first aired, several of us mentioned that the couple kind of reminded us of Mulder and Scully. They weren't actual look-alikes for our dynamic duo (like the other agents in "Fight Club" were) but the same *general* description -- tall, dark-haired man and smaller, redheaded woman -- fit both couples.
