Her pregnancy was rough, we watched that. I have used the same expression when talking my youngest child. While she was preggers she learned of a group implaninting alien fetuses in humans, had more than one hospital visit due to complications, and every scene with her doctor(s) had comments like, "stop worrying, everything is fine"

She knew all along. I can believe that.

And probably after sex with Mulder she was too exhausted and sedated to worry till at least the next day. They still had cases to solve. But when she found out she was preggers, it was just after Mulders disappearance, THAT was cause for worry.
