...KS slams into the klub after a reconnaisance up in Portland where she was perusing the latest in assassin-like weaponry. All jump as she pounds her fist on the bar for attention.

"Who's the wise guy who told U.S. officials about my cyberspace job as an assassin?" she shouts. "I was searched twice -- TWICE -- at the airport."

The crew (minus Det and SMH who are rabblerousing with the socialists) look at each other mutely. Finally, the brave and stalwart Mayor clears her throat.

"I believe I may have mentioned it at my monthly muckety-muck meeting with Barbara Thatcher and the prime minister of Canada," she reveals primly.

"And I told Dad and you know how he can't keep a secret," Kande tells KS and sticks out her tongue. "Plus I told my friend who has a friend who has another friend who works for the U.N."

"And I might have told the former governor of Minnesota (or is it current?) while we were having our weekly wrestling sparring match," remembers CW guiltily.

"Why's everyone looking at me?" Stardoe yells. "It's my job to send those mug shots to every sheriff's department in the world! Can I help it if KS is so photogenic?"

"And I may have inputted it into the reference materials on the library's internet website," Rabid confesses. "By the way, did they find anything when they searched you?"

"No," says KS, suddenly doubling over and clutching at her stomach, "I was too clever for them. But this gray-haired, slightly plump, almost-middle-aged disguise I was wearing has got to go." Disgusted, she pulls off her wig and quickly sheds the rest of the disguise, becoming her usual svelte, gorgeous cyber-self once again.

"So...KS...what did you do with all the weaponry you had planned to buy?" asks Rabid curiously.

KS grins weakly, doubling over once again and moaning. "I swallowed it. Um, excuse me...I may be in the bathroom for awhile." Holding onto her stomach, she quickly scuttles for the public bathroom in the rear of the bar. The group is silent and pale as they consider the possibilities.

"You don't think..." CW begins.

"I don't know, but I know I won't be borrowing any weapons from KS for awhile," Stardoe tells her, looking a little green around the gills.

--KS, who really was searched twice at the airport. Presumably because I look so dangerous.
