But you're right: some people (most likely my brother)simply aren't going to accept it!
Yes, I think Mulder and William are related and that there definitely seems to be some sort of plot going on to eliminate all "Mulder genes" from the face of the planet. Mulder's father, mother and sister have all been killed (or maybe "eliminated" is a better word, since I am still not clear as to exactly what it was Samantha experienced when she metamorphorsized into starlight or whatever.) And they have tried to kill Mulder or let the aliens have him or whatever numerous times. And they tried to convince Scully that William was an alien baby while she was pregnant, presumably in hopes that she would have an abortion.
And I still stubbornly cling to my belief that Jeff Spender was killed because he was actually the child or William Mulder and Cassandra Spender and CSM realized that.
