Subject: Stardoe sits in her rocker on her verandah gazing out into the takhi paddock.

"I wonder if Kande has calmed down yet. " she giggles to her self. KS comes sneaking up the steps and sits on one. "YOu know, KS" muses Stardoe"I'm surprised that Kande never wondered why her knee was going off at 6 o'clock every morning. Maybe she couldn't hear it under all those blankets. " Stardoe cackles and KS smiles at the thought of Kande waking up to her knee alarm every morning. They both look at eachother and start rolling around in hysterics.

Out of the corner of her eye Stardoe notices something. She stops laughing and sits up to peer out into the paddock. KS gazes in the same direction. One of Stardoe's prize takhis has fallen down and is laying postrate in the middle of the paddock. Stardoe springs from her rocker and races out to the stricken pony. KS tears after her.

They get there just in time to see a tiny hoof protruding out of the back end of the horse. "Oh my goodness" sighs KS. You're going to be a grandmother"
Stardoe smiles and they sit and watch the miracle take place. Before long a tiny head slips out and the mother turns to lick her new born foal. KS sniffs away her tears and wipes her nose on her sleeve.
"That's the loveliest thing I've ever seen" she snuffles. Stardoe nods her head with pride and pats her takhi mare as she cleans up her youngster. Stardoe and KS sit and watch the baby take it's first steps and feed until the sun sets over Mythology Mountain.
"Well," says Stardoe at last "It's beer o'clock" She gets up and they head back to the verandah.
"Congratulations Stardoe" says KS.
"Thanks" replies Stardoe as she reaches into the bar fridge and tosses KS and Light Ice. They sit back and enjoy the last remaining rays of sunset and til Stardoe's solar powered garden lights click on.
"That makes 51 in the heard now" says Stardoe after a while. "It's time to send some of the takhis home now. To Mongolia where they can be wild again. Where they belong."

KS just nods as she slaps something off her leg. She jumps up as something else runs across her back. Suddenly she is dancing around flapping and slapping.
"We've had enough rain thanks, KS" says a bemused Stardoe. "We don't need any Rain Queen around here" KS is going wild. Just then the porch light comes on and Stardoe reels in horror as she sees that KS is covered in cockroaches. Her first thought is to call Bambi but they begin to run up the legs of her jeans. "AAAAAGGGGGHHHHH ROACHES!!!!" she yells. BOth women run down the stairs and head for the klub screaming.

Kande, recovered from her ire over the watch races out to see what all the commotion is. KS and Stardoe run into the Klub. Kande grabs a copy of the Morono Gazette and starts belting at the two. Thinking how great it is to have an excuse to publicly flog these two idiots for what they did to her in the operation. CW begins stabbing the roaches with her knitting needles thus increasing the two's screams as the points bite their ample flesh. Islandgirl belts the roaches with her copy of her latest married series manuscript. Only Rabid has a decent idea. She tosses the rest of her flaggon of plonk over the two screaming , roach infested women and then flicks a lighted match their way. The sounds of sizzling fill the room as the roaches go up in flame.
"Fire! " yells Stardoe "We need help"
At the sound of fire being yelled, Kenamom knows just what to do. She races to the cupboard where the Shipperville Radio controlled Aeroplane Klub keep their stuff. She reaches in and grabs out the 1:100 scale model of Elvis the Canadian Water Crane helicopter. She starts up the engine. The chopper whirls into the air. It dips out the door to the water trough put there for the sheriffs' horses. In seconds it sucks up gallons of water. Kenamom guides the chopper over KS and Stardoe. She pushes the button and whoosh! both women are totally drenched and just in time to literally save their skins.
"Three cheers for Kenamom" CW shouts. Only Kande is upset. She eyes Rabid with scorn for taking away her chance to give Stardoe and KS a really good pounding with that news paper.
Mulder comes over and takes off his rubber gloves.
"I can arrange for someone to come over and deroach your house if you want , Stardoe. In the mean time you can move in with me. I need the company while Scully is gone. "
At this, Stardoe brightens up. "Thanks so much Mulder. I'd really appreciate it. Seeing as the roaches are all over my house, can I wear your clothes? "
"Sure" replies Mulder with a toothy grin.
Stardoe smiles and shouts....
"The drinks are on me. I have a new takhi foal as of this arv."
"STardoe's a grandmother " yells KS hoping to get kande's attention away from the watch episode.
They all gather around the bar as Stardoe forks out BH's interglactic visa card and tosses it to Bubba across the bar.
