after Scully's doctor was killed by Billy Miles. That may have been the tip off that she wanted to get pregnant. What I am having a difficult time trying to figure out is whether or not there are different new "species" here on earth. The Billy Miles ones, the SS's and heaven knows what else!?

Billy Miles crew insisted that William would be born. The SS only seem to be interested in monitoring and killing anybody who gets in their way or is a threat to their existence (like Scully was because she could call Mulder back or they could use her as bait.)

Any other ideas--I seem to miss details once in a while and timelines are certainly not my strength.
