Everyone is assuming they were haqving an ongoing affair but I'm iclined to believe that it was just one time. Thaty would be more in keeping with CC's feelngs about the relationship. They could "slip up" once and still not be involved. In some ways I prefer it. After William was born *then* they finally realize how much they love and mean to each other.
