Requiem was the perfect ending. I thought it should've ended there, even with the big huge cliffhangers at the end, and angst and sadness of it all. It would've been a perfect draw for the next movie. Existence was a nice ending, a happily ever after ending. S9 is just a great season. Terrific writing, back to great stories, great characters (IMHO). I wish Scully and Will weren't there with Mulder gone, I wish it was just a D&R season, but I'm thankful for what I have:) The only way it is "totally dying" is in the ratings. Nobody's watching, but they're all missing a great show. Their loss. Since they went past Requiem, I think the only good scenario is to keep going with the Next Generation. I wish we could get farther into the lives of D&R, let M&S live happily ever after...
