Then they would not have had to have this last ditch "we have to end it before it totally dies" scenario. As for me....well I don't think I'll be seeing season 9. It should have started by now. I have heard not a peep about it. Not seen an ad and haven't bought last week's TV week to see if it is in the line up. I had a look at tonight's programming in the paper and no XF. Oh well. Someone will jsut have to send me the tapes of the Shippy ep and the finale. Frankly, the rest I won't miss, although I was planning to watch loosely. It might still come one but it ain't lookin' good.
