Don't blame the fans here for the lie that he quit, it's The Stones who came out and said he was fired. I have always wondered why they started saying after his death that he quit. You are correct that it was reported that he
left the band on his own. I do remember when he left the band it WAS said that he quit. Why do the Stones always say such shit about Brian. He has been dead for so long it makes no sense! At this stage they no longer need a scape goat.
