I watched it as a kid in reruns but seeing it again as an adult made me realize how silly it was. How many times can they almost get off the island? How many genres can they parody with Gilligan's dreams?

I read that Tina Louise hated the show & never appeared in any reunions. She was told she was the lead when cast but then got on set & saw she was the ditzy film star instead. And she apparently didn't get on with Dawn "Mary Ann" Wells. Once the show was canceled, Louise never looked back.
