I've also read that Louise was "supposed" to be the "sexy" one but that in the eternal "Ginger vs. Mary Ann" debates, most guys actually preferred Mary Ann and Dawn Wells got more fan mail, which angered Louise.

It's a bit like how Chris Carter cast David Duchovny as Mulder on XF because he wanted somebody who was *not* a sex symbol as his leading man and then CC was flabbergasted to discover that a lot of women found DD sexy as hell
