 Hi Dennis,
I hope you & others who read and/or participate here can help me figure this out. It seems people are doubting my desire to start a business. I can understand that doubt; I've talked about it for too long.
I like music; OK I love it. Almost any kind, but not every "artist." I know it can be almost impossible to compete with giants who sell tapes & Cd's. I heard many times lately about records making a come-back. But I haven't noticed it.
Giants have big bucks for promotions. They have the clout to force suppliers to reduce wholesale prices. OK, you know this. I don't expect any miracles, so I know I'll need quite a bit of money. I don't feel comfortable financing with credit cards. With the Fed raising interest rates again, it makes it more risky.
I don't know when I'll have enough money to open a store.
I hesitate about asking people I know for the money. I'm sure I can be successful, but "investors"/"loaners" tend to be nervous & ask when they'll start getting profits or significant payments.
So, what can I do?
