Arienne watched Thorn as emotions flitted across his face. Poor baby... An image of a crying child, younger than Aiko, entered her thoughts, along with feelings of confusion. I'm sad for him, Llwyd. It's obvious someone he loves just died. That someone he loves commited suicide, right in front of him. Understanding came from the blue 'lizard.

Afraid that Thorn might do something stupid- like kill himself- Arienne shifted position. She changed her weight so that it was on her feet, and was ready to leap up if the candidate made any suspicious movements. Though prepared, her posture seemed relaxed.

Llwyd, shooed silently away by Arienne, fluttered up to Thorn's shoulder, and chirped questioningly, looking at both Oracle and the 'lizard's human friend.
