The girl's awareness slowly slipped back as she fell to her knees and clung to Aiko, choking back sobs. After many moments, Karsky lifts her head and wipes at the wet marks down her cheeks. She smiles softly and nods to Thorn.

"I don't think I'll go away right now. I'm scared to think of what I'd do if I were alone with only my concious. I'm scared...yes, dear..."

She wraps her arms around Aiko and then stands. She sets
the little girl down and recovers a bit of her old self.

"I really am sorry you had to come now, believe me..."

And I wish...I wish that I hadn't come back then. I wish that Sy would get up, hold me in his arms and comfort me again. Like he did before. Oh why, Sy... Why did you leave me?

She blinks back tears again, summoning her two flits. A bronze and green flicker in and immediantly set upon her, comforting her in their own lizardish way. Karsky bows her head, staring hard at the Sand. Oh how she wanted Asyl...or at least someone to comfort her as he did her...
