Riorth watched in admiration at Loveth. She was beautiful! And so graceful in the air. But why hadn't Riorth noticed her before? Then the brown dragon remembered that Loveth was new to New Isle Weyr. The dragon gave a draconic smile. Well, he was glad to be in her presence. And her flight!

Without saying a word, the brown dragon flew up, persuing the great green wonder. He did, however, stay a distance away from her; he wouldn't dare go too close to her. As the ocean dwindled away beneath them, he glanced back at the two blues. They had as good a chance as he did. Even though he was larger, they had stealth on their side. But he didn't care.

His attention averted over to the green before him, still a good dragonlength's away. He didn't say anything. Not a sound came from the brown dragon. But his eyes did say something. They were full of awe whenever he gazed upon the green. His tail flicked behind him, happily, as he beat his wings upwards behind Loveth. Riorth's hide glinted in the sunlight, but not as bright as the hide of the female in front of him. He lowered his head as his wings beated powerfully. He loved longer flights. He had only been in one. This was his second. And Loveth, he already knew, would surpass him easily.

N'deau shook his head. His mind was in chaos. Most of it was with Riorth, but some of it was back on the ground. He glanced around. He saw the green's rider. Then he looked over to the blues' riders. One was male, and the other...Female? Well, that was new. The brown rider looked away. He was still wary of the flights. It was only his and Riorth's second time. He didn't HATE flights, he just wasn't used to them. He sighed.
