It is interesting that you mentioned hypnotism because that is the only scientific explanation that i could think of. From a scientific point of view, you would need many experiments to prove its validity.

From a martial arts point of view, =) your apponnant would flatten you before you had a chance to convince them that your body was made of steel.

From a legal point of view, there is reasonable doubt that this was CHI.

However neither you or i was there so we would be naturally skeptical......
