"I've been here...almost a good year now...and still I haven't recovered from what those Syndicate bastards did to me...." Lance nearly choked on his Champain. He turned quickly to her and tried to take in all her details. Her eyes shifted as did her hair, which at first didn't strike him as odd. Mainly because he never had a chance to think about it. Her speed and strength were extrodinary, as were her "skills." The thought of her being caught by anyone, let alone the syndicate seemed unreal. Then he noticed the scar she was idly rubbing. "Umm...
