I can honestly say my daughter has never won both first and second chance. There have been times she’s won first chance and the results weren’t out before second chance so we didn’t sit out because we didn’t know, and in those situations she’s usually still placed but never won it twice. I’m sure it happens but it’s definitely not all the time. I do think the name “second chance” is a bit of a misnomer though if dancing in the first round isn’t required.
