And at the end of the day, the parent isn't doing their kid any favors in terms of life lessons. Will be interesting to see how the trophy hunters fare after dance...

Sometimes the dancer and family are at the mercy of the school policy. not every school views moving up immediately as a positive thing for the long term growth/development of a child - staying in for a calendar year is sometimes viewed as the right thing to do, regardless of placements. If they don't move up each calendar year, then I think it truly becomes an issue- but consider the above before you trash a family for bad parenting.

our experiences have all been parent driven with the parents being very vocal about sitting their kid in PC to collect.
