In reply to: https://midamericaregion.files.wordpress.com/2020/08/2020-mao-syllabus-aug-01.pdf 's message, "Anyone else find it interesting the region has moved the deadline to register for the Oireachtas to 9/1 instead of 10/1, when it is likely the event won't even happen? Given we still haven't received a refund for our fee for Worlds, I'm thinking there wouldn't be a refund for Regionals either. Seems like registrations should be LATER, not a month earlier." on 19:55:46 08/07/20 Fri

It would really suck being someone in charge of planning. Impossible really. I think that they are just doing the best that they can given the ever evolving Covid rules and other unknowns. It states the entry fee is 100% refundable. And by moving up the entry date they can see how many entrants they have to do additional planning.

[> [> [> Would feiseanna and Oireachtas consider doing what other solo dance competitions do and only allow one dancer on the stage at a time, including not lining up the next dancer until the current performer is off stage? Otherwise, it probably doesn't count as solo in this situation. -- ID competitions aren't solo in the same sense that ballet or other dance competitions are, 20:22:28 08/15/20 Sat (cpe-98-30-149-144.columbus.res.rr.com/98.30.149.144)
