Anyone else find it interesting the region has moved the deadline to register for the Oireachtas to 9/1 instead of 10/1, when it is likely the event won't even happen? Given we still haven't received a refund for our fee for Worlds, I'm thinking there wouldn't be a refund for Regionals either. Seems like registrations should be LATER, not a month earlier. -- Mid-America Region message Board

I unofficially heard if you qualified last year you automatically qualify for this year. Its teacher's discretion for dancers who did not qualify for a solo last year.

It would really suck being someone in charge of planning. Impossible really. I think that they are just doing the best that they can given the ever evolving Covid rules and other unknowns. It states the entry fee is 100% refundable. And by moving up the entry date they can see how many entrants they have to do additional planning.
