Vanderbilt: After the Tennessee joke, I was expecting a Southern/racism joke (Vanderbilt is sort of an Ivy of the South) The joke was more like something a smartass would say than truly funny.
Cartoonist: This is a rant. It's not funny. The end. The book title doesn't connect with anything you said.
Dallas: Don't know who Ike Turner is. This could be another cultural reference that everyone else would get.
Subway Lady: This is just kind of odd.
Martha Stewart: Don't get it.
Chylamydia: "Paris Hilton" is not an automatic punchline. You have to say something <i>about</i> her.
Paul McCartney: For me it took me a minute to do the math and get it. Adults might get it more readily.
Book sales: Nice.
Pamela Anderson: Who's Laytoya? I feel I've heard the name before..
Gas: Don't know what a jerry can is..
Missile shield: Okay. It's not immediately evident why Kelly Ripa is the right person for this joke.
Third Party: Again, this is just political commentary. There was a greater effort towards funniness...but it's far too long. Notice that Tina Fey managed to convey essentially the same thing in a one-liner.
