Yes... but not the one we have now.. we need one that is less corrupted by Money, Power and Greed...

What exactly do you percieve as the role of Goverment?

Well, to tell you the truth, I think its true role is to put the rich in positions of leadership... and to keep the middle class as the work horses... also keep the poor from succeeding.. that is the underlying role... the one that is not seen by all... the rich rule the world.. and need the middle class and poor to make the money for them... there are no poor people in congress... everyone is pretty well off... there are no middle class people in congress.... so based on that, who is in power? The Rich... but you already knew that... its sad that democracy isn't pure... its sad that our government doesn't truly care about its people and would rather help out some third world country or send the military out on some police duty in some fueding country... why not use the military to build housing for the poor.. or to help the needy... while at the same time, keep training them for war... this way just incase the shit breaks out, we are still prepared... maybe take some of that pay raise that they give themselves each year, and put it towards education and crime prevention... medical and dental plans... start progressing instead of regressing....

What should be it's mission?

Where should it involve it self, where should it stay
clear, and to what extent?

it should involve itself in this countries problems and stay out of the problems in the middle east and other third world countries... nobody helps us when we have natural disasters and problems.. but we seem to jump at the opportunity to help other countries... by us trying to play big brother we have made ourselves hated by these other countries that we help so much.... its not so much a matter of us being selfish, but truly taking care of us for a change... we have come so far, but fallen so far behind....
