awww, at least you know they have good homes. Is everything ok? I mean - you said "some stuff happened"(?). That's a bummer about the barn being so far and everything, but I bet you'll be thankful just to get on any horses back. I'm sure you could find a nice horse to work with down there.
That's really sweet of you to think of your Mom like that. God Bless my poor Mum, she puts up with me so well :-) I don't think I could ever be a vet. It'd make me feel good to help hurt animals, but what about the ones I couldn't help - ya know?
I wish I'd seen Libby, but not since I sold her :-( I asked the girl about visiting a few times & she said sure, but none of the times I was ever free "worked" for her. I'm determined to visit eventually. Lord knows how much I love that mare. Rachel (her new owner) has been updating me though, Libby's learned how to bow & will be getting that surgery on her leg soon. I'm glad that she went to someone who could afford it.I suppose everyone has hardships like that. I know I'll be beside myself with grief when Posey (my cat) dies! I mean, she sleeps with me every night! She's a sweetheart. Ick - that's bad, when your in with a tough crowd like that. I could never leave the 'burbs. Just today though, a girl in my study hall turned to me and said,"ya wanna see some pretty art?" and being polite, ya know, I said sure...well this girl lifts up her skirt, revealing quite a bit of her leg - I'm expecting to see a tatoo, but then I see that she's cut herself, but this isn't just any normal form of self-mutalation - this girl has the swastika carved into her skin and in the center it says "I'm an idiot". When I asked her why she did it she told me her parents locked her in her room for 7 hours and she got bored. This is the same girl who thinks she's a witch and told my friend that she wanted someone to "suck my blood". I guess you get people from all walks of life no matter where you live...
That's awesome about the books tho- i'll have to check it out sometime. I should go - I have youth group soon & need to finish up some Bio. cya
