Yep I totally agree with your first idea. From the d20 i could accept the numbers 1-14 for the first round and then choose a team whos draft position is the same as the number which is rolled.

The big problem i had this year was that i always pick the sleepers/holdout etc before the draft, your idea above will help erase the idea of any 2nd or 3rd round holdouts.

Second idea is fine and could work well. I think the holdout is a good idea, i know the Mexico GM wont obviously agree but i think it adds to the game. Obviously needs a bit of fine tweaking to get it right.
