I also think that Ton's idea is a great way to make
this holdout working (if we have to keep it).

We have 18 teams, however I would think it better if
we spare the first 3-5 draft picks. These teams were the
very worst in the league and they deserve all the help
they can get. After all the goal should be to make
the league more competitive.

>Second idea is fine and could work well.

Dont forget to select also the 2 negative sleepers
that way. These players will most likely end in the
FA trash can, so selecting them in a fair way is also
important.

One last note about the rookies quality:
as I have written allready, it was by design that the
defense was bad (I did the same with them as Paul did
with the FWL defense before the last season) The goal
is to keep the defense weak to allow the offense to
work normaly.

There may also be not the deepness in the offensive
positions, but this way early picks are more important.
And also too many offensive stars create also problems,
as I have seen in the stats of the last CWL season.

However before the next CWL season, I will ask Paul
what positions he want to be deep in talent, and
where he wants superstars and what position should be
weak in usable players.

bye and tschuess,
Marco
