He felt her fingers in his and mentally breathed a sigh of relief, wrapping his hand around hers. He laughed a little as she told him about her lying to see him, his blue eyes playing on hers but he couldn't quite find the strength to say to much but did manage to crack another joke "Great... never better..." He smiled a little before closing his eyes a moment "Aaron?" He asked- want9ing to know what was going on with his baby boy. He was trying to keep in good spirits and put her at ease- but he was in a lot of pain from the waist up and he was worried. -- Raine and Kevin's Place

She never felt so good about their relationship as she did when she felt him squeeze her fingers back. She could read signs of pain in his features but maybe she was mentally blocking them out - being on oxygen wasn't exactly a precursor to great conversation - she knew she was probably pushing it considering he had just woken up but she needed the reassurance he was providing. "Donna is outside with him. They didn't want to let him into this wing at all... none of us. I told them I was his mother and that was your baby... I'll look after him."
