My expectations were very low. I vaguely remember the original. To Sean's annoyance, I confuse the original wih Buck Rogers on regular basis. "Where's Wilma?"

I thought the effects were good and the story was enough to keep me interested in what happens to the characters. Not sure how I feel about Starbuck yet. I found her slightly grating..but I think she could turn out to be one of the more original female characters on television. My favourite characters so far are Adama, Apollo & the President.

The show is flawed, but I really enjoyed it. I am looking forward to tonight.

I didn't see but I enjoyed the original. I absolutely HAD to see it. And that's saying a lot because when I was younger I loathed science fiction.
