i think we should utilize both resources. part of a silent auction or even an ebay auction is that if you get it for cheap, you get it for cheap. really, what if no one wants to pay either way $35? its not like we paid for it. i think the stuff should be put up on ebay for bid with the NOTICE and knowledge that when they bid, they are bidding for a spot on the silent auction and if no one at the live event outbids them, THEN they get it. even if we put it on ebay -just- for advertisement and ask for them to e-mail bids. kind of like when they were raffling throse tori baskets and it was a bidding thread. that way, the ebay people have to say their max if they truly want it. that's my opinion, y0.
