I agree with John Robinson's comments regarding costs Class B, cars can be run at a sensible cost. I started in ARP in a Reynard 863 VW from formula ford and the first years running costs were about the same. There are plenty of people out there that can manufacture wings wishbones etc. however a typical example of cost comparison would be a lower wishbone for my Reynard was £80.00 the same part for my Dallara is £495.00 expensive yes but this does include the brake line and all rod ends. The cost to go racing is down to the individual you can run class B on a very reasonable budget, or you can pay the extra to run class A of course we have to keep an eye on the costs to ensure that running class A cars does not become to expensive.
The point being that our series needs each class to produce a healthy grid and the balance needs to be found. In my opinion the regulations have gone some way to achieve this as there are some competitive class B cars running.
