I thought the exact same thing! We were at this same point last year and we left with surprises at the end of "Darla" and "The Trial." I have this prediction that Angel and Darla have to flee the hospital immediately (W&H, the vamp clan??) and they hightail it in Angel's car. Next thing you know, Darla goes into labor (if she hasn't already) and Angel has to deliver the baby. Remember that Gunn plot about him being framed for a double homicide and only W&H can save him? I think they blackmail him into delivering the baby to them or act as a mole (eg. give the whereabouts of Angel and Darla). This ties nicely with TOGOM with the "choosing between which side" type of scenario.

It's so weird but I have the plot mapped out in my head further than that! I really think Darla and Angel will have to search high and low for the PTB or someone close to them to protect this baby. I think that's their quest for this season.

You're a good one! I did the same thing! Yeah, this pregnancy is taking its toll (sp?) on Darla. I'm glad Angel's there for her, but as far as his intentions go in comparison to last year's "I was only relating to you" stuff I have to wonder about the veracity of his true emotions.

It's seem like everything this year is kind of the exact opposite of last year, yet still the same.

You still got your "Darla lovers" bomb shelter? I think we're going to need really soon.
