What's really sad is that the more interesting posters, the ones who were fascinating in their ideas and unconventionality and willingness to see all sides of the picture were chased off back around The Trial/Reunion when the anti-darla-arc contingent were practically screaming their heads off.

Now, all we see are C/A posts and sad little B/A posts which don't really amount to much except petty shipper wars.

Thanks. I'll check them out when I have time.

To tell you the truth, for the first four eps, I was training my eyes to see if Julie benz was on the guest starring list. I've become such a darla-fan in that I noticed that she is listed as a Special Guest Star and I'm wondering if that means anything. The WB put her picture as a recurring character and I wonder if she is a recurring character, like ASH or the actress who played Joyce.

I swear they need to
>make her a regular so that the ANGEL people can use
>her as much as possible but still keep the balance of

Personally, I think they need to add another female on the show. Did you notce that the entire Angel Investigations group are all brunettes, well, Gunn is a fine Black man who really needs a storyline, but it would be nice if they added one more female to the bunch, just to make the group an even six, although that might be stretching the cast.
>Yeah, man, I'll post the results asap! I'm not sure
>I'll get any sleep at all.

Oh, I haven't been able to get good night's sleep since the Darla-arc for this year started. Seriously, I dreaded the idea of darla coming back in Season 3 over the summer. Epiphany scarred me so much and the fact that there were fan speculations that she'll come back, join up with W&H and in the end get staked by Angel or Cody. I swear, there are some fans who have betting pools over which member of the Angel Investigations troop gets the "honor" of staking Darla. I really, really despise that kind of speculation. It's nothing more than big-game hunting over fictional characters and it slightly annoys me that some fans don't do the same type of death betting with the human characters. Apparently, since she is a vampire and Lilah is human, Darla is acceptable to speculate about killing off, while Lilah is not.

*Sigh* I keep worrying about the longevity of darla and the baby and I get so worked up, I need to write it all down in my journal. I swear, if I pick it up ten years from now, I think I might think of myself as a crazy person.
>LMAO! I so understand the MADNESS! It's crazy and
>sickening! Hey, Smallville rocked tonight! Love Lana
>and Clark! She so likes him. It's great to get that

Oh, neat. I've become a lex/Lana fan and a little bit of a Lex/Clark fan, but Clark/Lana seem really nice. See? That's what I'm talking about, flexibility over relationships without anyone getting worked up and going "You CAN'T Like this/that character/ship because it's WRONG and you're CRAZY/STUPID/IMMORAL."

I try. I try. I'll probably crack like a gutted fish in a few days, but right now the anti-darla-ness of the NG pisses me off as well as the overt C/A-ness of the ASS board. At least with B/S, you still have a few other ships talking about their favorite ships on the B C&S board as thought they have a chance, even though some are slightly obnoxious to B/S-ers.

Yes! You can really sense the time and development and care the writers are putting into the relationship and you *want* to root for it to win.
