You're welcome. :) Let's hope for come good flashbacks in the future.

Yeah, that *does* sound a little too predictable and I agree with you, but something tells me that's what we're going to get regarding the way the storyline is planned. If I ha my way, I would move the story along by having maybe Wes or Gunn falling for Holtz's story and sort of becoming a stool pigeon at the same time. While Angel thinks Wes/Gunn will protect the baby, in reality they're thinking of ways to get rid of it, or some such thing. A little melodramatic, to be sure, but it could tie in with the story actions in That Old gang of Mine, where Gunn stood by and did nothing while innocent demons were getting slaughtered by his old crew.

oh, yeah, I agree with that. What would have made Offspring a bit better for me would have been if we had gotten Darla's point of view for most of the episode. The first half was heavily Angel/Cordy, nothing wrong with that, but aside from the Darla breakdown at the Discovery Zone playcenter, that ep just felt uneven. I guess what bothers me about this arc is that the pacing feels slightly rushed, we hardly got a true understnding of how darla and Angel truly felt, Lullaby was brilliant in that regard, and there have been no real explanations about the baby. I'm willing to say, "eh, who cares", regarding how the baby was concieved. Angel and Darla had sex, bringing forth Buster, 'nuff said is my motto.

However, the story told in Lullaby is just the beginning, so I'm interested in how this all works out. As long as "The Kid" isn't super-aged, killed, or sent off to another dimension/the Burkles just so the writers can avoid having a baby on the set and in the story, everything else is fine by me.
I just wish for the days when the

Lol. Nice thought, I've thought that too.

I think BtVS is doing that well now, but then again, my mind is on Buffy/Spike/Dawn these days regarding the show.

Yeah, I know. That poor man needs something to do.I wish he could play a pivotal role in the arc, but the obvious one is the betrayer and that would just be a little too predictable.

She might be the baby's baby-sitter? That's good, right?

What Cordy could use is a good dose of being in the non-supernatural world. heck, all of them could spend some quality time in the non-suprntural. There was once a time when Cordy wanted to become an actress. Shedosn't have to become a actress now, but it would be nice if we saw some real interaction with the human world. Date a little, have fun, be young! Cordy feels like she's already setting up shop as a forty-year-old spinister, when she is what? 20-21? If I were her, I would try to get involved in the human world as possible. It's great to save the world, but there comes a time when you actually have to experience the world you're saving.

If anything, I think maybe the baby might be Angel's chance to have a stake in the fight against evil. Before, he had the company of his friends and his guilt, which are okay, but he really didn't have anything to truly *tie* him to the world. Buster is a definite tie to the world, since Angel will have a strong desire to save the world for future generations, for his grandchildren. I also think that with the arrival of Buster, we're going to see a more balanced, more determined Angel. Goofy!Angel was fun afor me to watch. I loved him during the Pylea arc, but I couldn't really take him seriously. As of Lullaby, I'm feeling his anguish, vulnerability, pain, and sense of humor all at once. I've never felt closer to the character before.

I guess that's why I liked Darla so much.
> She suffered considerably but she always popped back

Darla was one tough cookie wasn't she? You know what, as long as Buster lives on the show, Darla lives on in him. We can take a little pleasure in that.

Out of the entire MoG, Wesley gets top billing. I felt frhim in Billy.

Like a wise man once said: Genius is 50% luck and 50% inspiration. ME was very lucky that when people look back over the history of BtVS, the story managed to fit with the story we see now.

>Hope so, but I doubt the FG will get better

Yeah, I know what you mean. last year, most people were skeptical of Angel/Cordy while I was waving pom-pomms for that ship. I was sweating bullets over whether Angel/Fred will come to pass. Now? I'm not waving the pom-poms as much anymore and some of the places I hang out now are pro-C/A. It's funny how things work out.
>The actress has this way of over acting. She's

Whoa! I did *not* know that. The actress who plays Lana seems so worldly or at least mature for her character. She's a very pretty girl, though.

Are they
>supposed to be Freshmen in Smallville because that's a
>stretch if I ever saw one! It's all fun nonetheless.

yeah, it is. I keep wondering why they are all in high school. They certainly didn't feel like high schoolers, but they are pretty to watch.
>Lex/Lana's chemistry is tres interesting. Did you see
>last week's with the girl that wanted to lose weight
>so she drank a kryptonite shake to slack off the
>weight? LOL.

Oh yes! I didn't know whether to be slightly freaked or bust out laughing every time Jody opened her mouth to suick the fat. Her mouth just looked weird to me. I was pleased with Pete wanting to go out with her. It's about time the character of pete got some definition.

There were a couple scenes b/w Lex and
>Lana where it seemed like Lex was moving onto Lana
>(who was waiting for Clark), yet at the same time kept
>his distance. Ah. yes. Sometimes I don't know if Lex is out to ptrotect Clark or do him harm. That man is the most morally ambiguous character on the show.

The actor that plays Lex is very good.
>He can convey so much in so less.

*Sigh* Lex is so the man. :)
>

>LOL, that is soo funny.

Yeah. I'm not big on the Superman comics and I am very relieved the writers aren't doing the cape and suit thing. I always thought it was corny.

>I caught a little of the pilot and I didn't like it.
>Maybe if I saw more episodes I'd change my mind. I
>kept yelling at the tv screen because those two girls
>did some of the most stupidest things when it came to
>escaping their kidnappers. =)

I've been keeping up with 24 due to the encore presentations that Fox gives on Friday nights. I love it that FOX is doing this. Overall, 24 is pretty interesting, but it's basically standard action drama. I'm in it for Dennis Haysbert and finding out what happened to the girls.
