I agree with you Gloria, because I have the same sort of upbringing, except the languages we spoke were Tagalog, Castellano, and English, because I'm Tagalog.

I don't agree with others who automatically say that you're a traitor to being Filipino just because of this fact. Some Filipinos have to realize that there are MANY DIFFERENT types of upbringings, and there truly are Filipinos who grew up speaking Spanish or had a strong influence, and I know because I grew up in a family that has been speaking Spanish for generations. To this day, my aunts and uncles, and my grandmother speak fluent Spanish, and we KNOW for a fact that we have Spanish blood, because you only have to look at our faces, at my nose, or my great aunt's brown hair and green eyes, or my cousin's light brown eyes, etc. So when Filipinos say that they have Spanish blood, it's quite possible that it's the truth.
