some games because they were so flat. Steyn knocked India over for seventy odd one day. There have been games when they have offered bowlers a lot and certainly spinners have prospered. The UAE has also been a bowlers' graveyard when used as Pakistan's home ground.

Even our pitches went through a time in the early 2010s when they were pretty docile. Steve Smith said the only way you could get out was to get yourself out.
