Subject: Taylor dropped out of school while she was Miss North Carolina and is part of a very wealthy and privileged family, that is a completely different scenario. Carrie's school understandably comes first to preserve her eligibility and SCHOLARSHIP is a point of the crown. She should not be expected to overextend herself to please the trolls of the voy board.

In reply to: 's message, "No kidding! Taylor would have been boots on the ground, getting her hands dirty doing SOMETHING whether it was handing out water, flipping pancakes, or organizing some sort of drive. Can we have her back for another year? Let this girl go to Miss America since it's clear that's all she cared about, and let Taylor actually BE Miss NC for another year? This is pitiful and a slap in the face to all of the girls who would have actually done something with the title." on 12:04:33 10/09/24 Wed

Carli was in school and still managed to be a present and active Miss NC (NT)No name13:25:14 10/09/24 Wed
Karolyn. Hell at this point give us Victoria back. Any of them would actually do something! (NT)No name13:42:55 10/09/24 Wed
While yes, Taylor was privileged to take a year off of school for the duties of Miss NC, does not mean Carrie should be excused for the poor job she has done. Miss NC is Miss NC, whether you’re in school or working full-time. When a part of our state is destructed by a natural disaster, we expect Miss NC to do more than make a generic post on social media (days after the fact). Taylor is and will always be a pioneer and go down in the history books as a legendary Miss NC. (NT)No name13:59:19 10/09/24 Wed
